Gibsons, British Columbia, tops the inaugural list of "Harry-est Towns"
SEATTLE, WA - April 4, 2007 - Amazon.ca today announced it is looking for the "Harry-est Town" in Canada, the honour given to the town which has pre-ordered the most copies of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" from Amazon.ca on a per capita basis. The company will use the 2006 Canada Census data and include all Canadian towns and cities with a population of more than 5,000 people. The winning town will be announced shortly after 11:59pm PDT on July 15, 2007. Amazon.ca will donate a $5,000 Amazon.ca gift certificate to a charitable organization of the company's choice in Canada.

The list of the top 10 "Harry-est Towns" in Canada will be updated on a weekly basis allowing fans to track demand for the latest Harry Potter installment on Amazon.ca. The list and additional information on the search for the "Harry-est Town" in Canada can be found at www.amazon.ca/harrypotter.
