JAKARTA, August 6, 2026 – Mitra Keluarga (IDX: MIKA), one of Indonesia's largest and most established private hospital networks, today announced a new phase in its digital transformation, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) generative AI service Amazon Bedrock to take repetitive, time-consuming work off the shoulders of its teams so the organization can keep raising the standard of care it provides.
Across its network of 32 hospitals, Mitra Keluarga is applying generative AI to modernize the systems its people depend on, from how it hires the professionals who care for patients to how quickly it builds and improves the applications that clinicians and staff use every day.

Fair hiring at scale
For a healthcare network of Mitra Keluarga's size, hiring is constant and high stakes. Every role must be filled with the right person, and every applicant deserves a fair review, but the sheer volume of resumes can make that difficult to do quickly and consistently.
Working with Sarana AI, an AWS Partner, Mitra Keluarga deployed Nara, an HR screening assistant built on Amazon Bedrock and Amazon Textract. Nara standardizes information from varied resume formats and matches candidates against skill requirements, surfacing the strongest applicants for a human recruiter to review. Crucially, no candidate is filtered out automatically. Every resume stays in the system, and hiring decisions are made entirely by HR staff. Amazon Bedrock Guardrails ensures every candidate's data is kept safe and secure throughout the process. The solution helps save more than 2300 HR working hours annually by accelerating resume screening and initial candidate interviews.

Building faster for the people who deliver care
Mitra Keluarga is also using Kiro, an AI-powered development tool from AWS, to accelerate how quickly its teams build and maintain the applications clinicians and staff rely on.
The impact has been significant across the development team. Since adopting Kiro, a facility management application that was originally projected to take three months was completed in one month and is now in testing. Monthly code output per developer jumped from 1,000–2,000 lines to 20,000–30,000 lines, a 15x improvement in development velocity. Troubleshooting for its medical record tool, previously a week-long exercise, now takes just one to two days, meaning the systems clinicians use to care for patients spend less time waiting on fixes and more time working as intended.

Mitra Keluarga is now exploring how to expand generative AI across more of its operations to further reduce friction for patients, with a focus on creating a more seamless end-to-end patient experience from booking through to post-visit care.
