Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Salesforce today announced an expanded collaboration to help enterprises close deals, resolve customer issues, and move faster with AI.

As AI influences what enterprises build as well as how and where their teams work, three dynamics are shaping adoption: the demand for AI that can act on CRM intelligence wherever employees work – not just inside the CRM itself; the challenge of connecting siloed data across cloud environments without requiring data migration; and the opportunity to make data deliver more value by extending AI agents into new modalities like real-time voice and team collaboration.

Today's announcements address each of these dynamics directly. They deliver new integrations to make it easier for teams to work across AWS and Salesforce within established workflows: Salesforce business context can be surfaced directly in Amazon Quick, AWS frontier agents are coming to Slack, Zero Copy expands to more AWS data services, Agentforce customers gain access to Amazon Bedrock's broad selection of frontier models, and Agentforce Voice interoperates with Amazon Connect Customer in real time. With these integrations, a sales team will be able to prep for a meeting in Amazon Quick with live CRM data, a service agent can route a customer issue across Agentforce and Amazon Connect Customer seamlessly, and an ops team can query data across both environments.

"Salesforce's business context creates value everywhere our customers work. Trusted data now reaches into the surfaces teams rely on daily, and our collaboration with AWS extends that reach even further, all with governance built in every step of the way. The further that context reaches, the more valuable it becomes. That's what turns AI from a feature in one app into how enterprises actually get work done." — Nick Johnston, EVP, Global Partnerships, Salesforce

“The companies moving fastest and delivering differentiation with AI are the ones building on their own data, with the applications and cloud infrastructure they already trust. That's why removing the friction between environments matters. These new integrations with Salesforce give customers data access without migration, model choice at the right economics, and AI agents where their people already work. When enterprises can do all of that seamlessly, AI becomes how they actually operate and drive business outcomes, not just something they're piloting.” — Rahul Pathak, VP, Data and AI GTM, AWS

AI Agents Where Employees Already Work
The new integrations put AI agents directly into the environments enterprises are using, eliminating context-switching and the friction that can slow adoption or inhibit AI from delivering real business impact.

  • Access Salesforce Business Context in Amazon Quick: Salesforce data, context, and skills are now natively available through Amazon Quick — no custom integration required. Enterprises can access pipeline health, account summaries, service cases, and operational analytics from directly inside Quick. Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP) open standard, Salesforce’s headless architecture allows Quick and Salesforce to interoperate natively. Instead of toggling between Salesforce and a dozen browser tabs to prep for a customer meeting, an account team can ask Quick to pull the latest deal status, open service cases, and recent activity into a single brief with full Salesforce context.
  • Bring AWS Frontier Agents into Slack:AWS frontier agents can now work directly inside Slack, starting withAWS DevOps Agent and expanding toAWS Security Agent,AWS FinOps Agent, andAWS Partner Central agents. Instead of switching to a separate console to investigate an incident or check a security finding, a team can work with an AWS agent right in the Slack channel where the conversation is already happening. The agents have full conversational context, so they can pick up on what the team is discussing and respond with relevant, actionable information.
  • Expand Agentforce Model Choice through Amazon Bedrock: Amazon Bedrock offers the industry’s broadest selection of frontier foundation models, with the enterprise-grade security, performance and governance that production workloads demand. Agentforce customers can now access that full range and models from Anthropic and NVIDIA, directly within their Salesforce agents and agentic workflows, with OpenAI models — already generally available on Amazon Bedrock — coming soon to Agentforce. Customer data is protected at every layer: Amazon Bedrock enforces Zero Data Retention so no data is stored or used for model training by any provider, while Salesforce's Trust Layer adds dynamic grounding and toxicity detection. For regulated industries, this brings HIPAA, PCI, SOC 2, and ISO 42001 compliance and full audit trails built in.

"At DXC Technology, we manage complex enterprise environments for customers across every major industry, with Salesforce as a central system of record for sales. Amazon Quick's agentic capabilities have become an integral part of how our teams operate. With more than a dozen AI agents already deployed and growing, our consultants and delivery teams are pulling customer data, surfacing insights, and acting on opportunities faster than ever, all without leaving the tools they work in every day. We see tremendous potential in the Amazon Quick and Salesforce integration to drive productivity at scale, both internally and for the customers we serve."
— Russell Jukes, Chief Digital & Information Officer, DXC

“Having access to the broad selection of foundation models in Amazon Bedrock through Agentforce gives us the flexibility to choose the right model for each use case—helping our teams build smarter AI agents that deliver better outcomes for our customers.”
— Joshua Stern, Director, GTM Systems, Engine

“A lot of our engineering work and conversations already happen in Slack. Bringing the AWS DevOps Agent into those conversations allows my teams to spot and resolve issues in their development environments faster, without breaking their flow. That helps us move more quickly and ultimately get products in front of our customers sooner.”
— Muddassar Shaikh, Senior Vice President of Engineering, GoodRx

“We are excited to work with AWS and Salesforce to help shape this experience. The value we're seeing from the AWS DevOps Agent and Slack integration is not just in triggering investigations, but in creating a shared workspace where engineers can collectively direct, refine, and act on the results. Having those capabilities embedded in an environment our teams use every day has the potential to streamline how incidents are understood and resolved.”
– Giriraj Jain, VP of Engineering Services, Quicken Inc

Access Enterprise Data Without Migration or Duplication
AI agents are only as useful as the data they can access. The expanded integrations extend zero-copy data access across Salesforce and AWS, helping enterprises ground agents in real enterprise data without migrating or duplicating it—or changing the security and governance controls already established in either environment.

  • Salesforce Data 360 Zero Copy Expansion: Zero Copy now extends to AWS Glue-managed Apache Iceberg tables, S3-backed Apache Iceberg tables, Amazon Aurora, Amazon RDS, and SageMaker Lakehouse. These capabilities build on existing support for Amazon Redshift and Amazon S3 with Private Connectivity. Joint customers can use this native access to ground AI agents in enterprise data while maintaining governance and avoiding data movement. Salesforce and AWS are also exploring bidirectional semantic-information sharing with AWS Glue Data Catalog, laying the foundation for more connected data and AI experiences, so teams get more accurate, context-rich AI without the cost and complexity of data migration.
  • Informatica Headless Expansion for Amazon Bedrock AgentCore & Amazon Quick: Informatica is expanding the general availability of its MCP servers to support critical enterprise use cases. Its headless capabilities now include Informatica platform administration, catalog discovery and enrichment, data-quality scores, and master-data retrieval. These MCP integrations are accessible from Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon Quick, helping enterprises deploy AI agents grounded in data that is clean, discoverable, trusted, and governed.

Enable Richer, Real-time Voice Orchestration
Customer calls and team conversations are where some of the highest-value work happens. New integrations bring AI into voice interactions, with real-time access to data and context, cross-environment agents, and natural ways to capture and act on information.

  • Agentforce Voice with Amazon Connect Customer: Salesforce and AWS are introducing a new approach for secure communication between AI agents across voice platforms. With Agent2Agent (A2A) support, Agentforce Voice and Amazon Connect Customer will communicate directly through real-time, bidirectional audio over WebSockets. This gives customers greater choice and enables AI agents to coordinate more seamlessly across the two solutions.
  • Dictation for Slack, Built with AWS Trainium: Salesforce AI Research worked with AWS to optimize Salesforce’s proprietary speech models on AWS Trainium chips, enabling ultra-low-latency voice dictation in Slack. Customers can capture and share ideas by voice with near-instant transcription without leaving a Slack thread. By optimizing the models on purpose-built AWS silicon, Salesforce can deliver the capability at a lower inference cost, with the benefit passed on to customers.

Strengthening a decade-long collaboration
Today's announcements build on a decade-long collaboration between Salesforce and AWS to give customers flexibility and choice in the models they use, the data sources they connect, and the workflows they automate, without forcing a tradeoff between speed and trust.

For customers, our shared vision for effortless procurement means the tools to power an agentic enterprise are now just as easy to buy as they are to build. With Salesforce Clouds now available in AWS Marketplace across 33 countries, customers can apply eligible AWS spend commitments toward Salesforce products, including Agentforce, consolidate procurement and billing, and move faster from decision to deployment. Organizations of every size and across industries are already using this streamlined path to make their technology spend work harder and get more from their AWS and Salesforce investments.
