All Amazon customers can get 20% cashback up to INR 200 on their first bus ticket booking on Amazon for a limited period, with additional benefits for Amazon Pay ICICI credit card customers; who will earn an extra 2% reward every time they book bus tickets on Amazon.in.
With this partnership, Amazon customers will also get access to redBus platform’s exclusive features such as Bus Service Ratings by passengers and live tracking of buses. Customers can use ratings of a bus service, by other customers, as a guide to choose the best bus option available on their route. They can track the live location of their bus and check the expected time of arrival to their boarding point. They get the bus number and contact information of the bus staff prior to departure.
The customers can now find largest selection of shopping and payment use cases on Amazon which provides added convenience and control. In addition to shopping, money transfers, utility bill payments, mobile recharges, flight bookings, and movie tickets, they now have – all in one single app – ability to
buy tickets for private buses.
To book bus tickets on Amazon.in, customers can go to ‘Bus Tickets’ category under ‘Amazon Pay’ tab and they can use their existing contact details and payment information which saves the effort of re-entering this information every time. They can use their Amazon Pay balance, Amazon Pay UPI or Amazon Pay ICICI credit card or other digital payment methods for an easy checkout experience. In case customers need to cancel a ticket, they only pay the cancellation penalty as per the cancellation policy defined by the operator; Amazon.in does not levy any additional charges.
