Bengaluru, December 18, 2019, 2019: Amazon.in concluded the biggest ever Small Business Day organized on December 14, 2019. The Amazon Small Business Day saw record participation from thousands of MSMEs, SMBs, Artisans, Weavers and Women Entrepreneurs showcasing their largest ever selection of products. Businesses from over 3,300 pin codes received orders from customers during Small Business Day.
Over 1,200 Sellers witnessed their highest sales ever on Small Business Day. Artisans and Weavers who sell their unique handmade collection through the Amazon.in/Karigar store witnessed a growth of 2.5X during Small Business Day. Women Entrepreneurs selling from Saheli program witnessed a growth of 1.7X. Similarly, brands and start-ups under Launchpad program grew by 1.4X over their average sales during the one day shopping extravaganza.

- Start-ups and brands under Amazon Launchpad program witnessed a growth of 1.4X versus their average day sale
- Over 41,000 Sellers received at least one order out of which over 1,200 sellers witnessed their highest ever single day sale during Amazon Small Business Day
- 34 sellers grew by 1000X vs their average sale, 379 sellers grew by 100X, and 2.8K sellers grew by 10X versus their average sale day during Amazon Small Business Day
- Over 350 newly joined Sellers received their first ever order
- Some of the top performing sellers during Amazon Small Business Day were Chandana Ikkat Weaves (50X growth), Punnjab (12X) and Euphoria Jewelry (205X), Envias Handbags (14X), Alicia Souza (33.8X), Surprise Someone (10X), SIRIMIRI (4X)

- Blue Pottery products sold during Amazon Small Business Day received orders from 13 states and 30 cities
- Customers from over 16 states and 40 cities ordered for Block printed Dohar & table runners
Customer Preferences:
- Winter Theme store on Launchpad observed 1.3X growth and Eco-friendly store observed 1.8X growth versus average sale day
- Some of the top performing categories during Amazon Small Business Day were Wireless, Furniture, Electronics, Beauty, Jewelry, Apparel and Kitchen
