Collection includes revived sterling silver ‘HOTLIPS’ rings
London, October 21st 2015: Jewellery fanatics can now get their hands on the beautiful designs of celebrity jewellery designer Solange Azagury-Partridge. The collection, available from 21st October 2015, includes a revived collection of sterling silver ‘HOTLIPS’ rings available at www.amazon.co.uk/hotlips, as well as a curated edit of the designers’ mainline range of fine jewellery, available at www.amazon.co.uk/solange.
The Amazon ‘HOTLIPS’ ring collection is based on the original Solange Azagury-Partridge ring design which was first released in 1995 and has graced the hands of women including Scarlett Johansson, Thandie Newton, Lady Gaga, Hayley Steinfeld, Katy Perry, Penelope Cruz, Emma Watson, Cara Delevigne, Lily Allen, Felicity Jones, and Leighton Meester.
The Amazon ‘HOTLIPS’ collection of rings are made from sterling silver with a lacquer finish, priced at £69. Solange explains, “This special collection revives my most iconic design, ‘HOTLIPS’. There are six gorgeous colours for every occasion and every outfit - classic red, nude, majestic purple, delicious black cherry, bubble gum pink, and orange blossom.”
Julian-Exposito Bader, Head of Vendor Management, Jewellery, for Amazon Fashion EU said “Our customers love Solange Azagury-Partridge and were delighted when we launched her limited edition Talisman collection of necklaces in the UK last year. We are excited to be working with Solange again for AW15 to launch this special collection in time for Christmas and to make it available to Amazon customers across Europe.”
Originally from London, Solange designed her first piece of jewellery (her own engagement ring) in 1987 and set up her business in 1990. In the early 2000s, she spent three years as Creative Director at a leading Parisian fine jewellery brand after being recruited by Tom Ford.
Key pieces from Solange’s mainline fine jewellery collection which are available from Amazon include her diamond ‘Fringe’ ring (£3,900), ‘Bones’ ring (£2,200), ‘Vices and Virtues’ ring (£18,500) and ‘Heart of Darkness’ pendant (£4,300), all of which have a darker design tone, and the ‘Real Fake’ earrings (£3,500) and ‘Lone Star’ earrings (£1,900) made in a special form of lacquer.
