Prime has revolutionised home delivery for millions of households across the UK and, to celebrate the milestone and thank some of its most loyal customers, Amazon has identified 10 small UK villages “Prime Villages” and is giving all households Prime membership for a year. The 10 villages, whose residents have been amongst the most frequent Amazon customers over the past decade, will receive Prime membership for one year including existing Prime members, who will receive 12 months on top of their current subscription. Select households will also be chosen at random to receive a trip to London and a pair of exclusive Amazon Lounge tickets to a popular show at The O2, courtesy of Amazon Tickets. Residents in the 10 “Prime Villages” – which include Daresbury, Kirkton of Tough and Marloes – are already making the most of Prime, with Amazon customers in these locations more likely to be Prime members than the UK average.
