Iris and Lily

UK, December 5 2017: Iris and Lilly, Amazon Fashion's European lingerie brand has launched its first campaign. Shot by acclaimed American photographer Cass Bird, Cass has photographed commodities broker-turned-model and professional Muay Thai fighter, Mia Kang, in an intimate portfolio of pictures that captures Mia's natural beauty and inner strength, and celebrates their friendship. The personal approach to the imagery and authentic bond between photographer and model reflects the connection that a woman experiences through a genuine friendship.

Speaking about Mia and the shoot, Cass Bird said, "When you can find the intersection between beauty and strength, vulnerability and humour, it is a home run. You feel her humour and her thoughtfulness. Mia was an immediate choice when I saw the brief."

When looking at the campaign images Mia Kang commented, "The whole thing is so human, this is me with all my imperfections. People usually see me in a superhuman way." When discussing one of her favourite items from the collection she added, "It's a push up bra and I had no idea that's what it was. It's really comfortable, it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a push up. It's got a nice, natural shape."

The eight images feature Mia in hero pieces from the Iris and Lilly collection, as the campaign tells a story about how finding the best lingerie is like finding a best friend. It gives you confidence, and shares your most personal moments, the exciting friend to go out with, the relaxed friend to stay home with, and the friend that you are so comfortable with you feel like you have known each other forever.

There are over 500 styles in the new collection, ranging from delicate lace separates, to athleisure inspired sets in key colours such as a soft blush pink, deep royal blue and classic black. Talking about the campaign, Sarah Miles, Director for Iris & Lilly said, "Our aim for this campaign was to capture something true, a unique story that shows a fresh and modern approach to the way that women chose what lingerie to buy and wear, and that will resonate with our Amazon Fashion customers."

The new collection will be available to shop at amazon.co.uk/iris&lilly from December 5th and customers purchasing items from the Iris & Lilly collection will enjoy free returns and a wide range of convenient delivery options including unlimited one-day delivery for Amazon Prime members.
