London, 5th November 2019: Polly, a Pointador pup from Glasgow, has today been crowned the 2019 Face of Amazon Pets, following a nationwide search for the next furry, scaly or feathery face of Amazon.co.uk’s Pet Supplies Store.
Thousands of proud pet owners nationwide shared their cute, funny and whacky pet pictures and videos across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, stating why their pet should win.
A panel of expert judges reviewed entries across seven animal categories: Dogs; Cats; Fish; Birds; Small Animals – such as rabbits and hamsters; Horses; and Reptiles, with 10 entries for each category shortlisted to compete for the top prize. These entries were selected based on the five most liked, commented, and shared entries, alongside five wildcard entries that were judged not for their pup-ularity, but for their originality, authenticity and charisma.
Pollywon following her entry posted by owner Lisa Curatolo, on Twitter. The judges chose her because everyone instantly fell in love with her puppy charm and the authentically curious, friendly look in her eyes.
